Session Six: The Return of the Old Ones...?


[2024/08/15 15:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: While investigating a Suspiciously Quiet House, a dragon burst out of the barn along with two gaunt, yellow-greenish characters who speak a gluttural foreign language. One apparantly trying to run away, the other very cross, calling her an "idiot, traitor" in their tongue. And now we are all facing each other, wondering, what is going to happen next?

[2024/08/15 15:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: oh, before we get to THAT, there's something much more important.
[2024/08/15 15:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: GGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRREEEEEEETTINGS, Adventurers! Other players get to explore strange places and wierd locations, you get a dragon pouncing out of a barn in an abandoned farmyard.
[2024/08/15 15:07] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay, with the greeting outta the way, who suggests doing what?
[2024/08/15 15:08] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Now that the charging person is on our side... gonna get my musket ready.
[2024/08/15 15:08] Alicia Frakture: The female one ran past us and prepared her weapon if this one remembers correctly. Leesha had drawn her weapon, facing the guy and the dragon.
[2024/08/15 15:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana inches over while trying to not look like moving. "Debben... behind me..."
[2024/08/15 15:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia?
[2024/08/15 15:09] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): thinks im flying up a bit higher to get a clear view of all that is going on
[2024/08/15 15:09] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben adjusts position as requested, eyeing that dragon's mouth
[2024/08/15 15:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: The dragon is big, easily thirty, fourty feet... yet you feel it's a small one among it's kind. It's head swings side to side, keeping you all in sight.
[2024/08/15 15:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: The female humanoid gives a suprisingly human shrug, glancing at us to her sides. "g'lyck", she says, not sounding overly sincere. (An expression akin to a sigh)
[2024/08/15 15:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guy also looks at us, and gives a sneer. He says, to us: "istik" (stranger) and waves a hand, as if shooing us away
[2024/08/15 15:15] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is not moving. "Shmuck." She says to him.
[2024/08/15 15:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben? Dahlia?
[2024/08/15 15:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "....I just hope they understand us as much as we understand them..."
[2024/08/15 15:18] Alicia Frakture: How can they not? Everyone knows what a Shmuck is
[2024/08/15 15:18] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben keeps her rifle ready to aim at the dragons mouth if it opens to breath at them. "Think they'll let us leave?"
[2024/08/15 15:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "You know, Leesha, I woke up this morning hoping I might feel what the inside of a blast furnace feels like."
[2024/08/15 15:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana, to Debben: "Hard to say... this isn't exactly our fight..."

[2024/08/15 15:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: The female humanoid has just a few words for the guy. "tsk'in'va." (eat sh**)
[2024/08/15 15:21] Alicia Frakture: You..." Lessha pauses to count heads." one, two, thr..You five can head back around the house if you want
[2024/08/15 15:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Who...?)
[2024/08/15 15:22] Alicia Frakture: *Katana and the others. She may have miscounted as well
[2024/08/15 15:22] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben starts walking backwards slowly, weapon still ready....
[2024/08/15 15:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana, staying still. "Oh... I never said I was going to back down before some giant lizard and a bully."
[2024/08/15 15:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: The dragon snorts, and lifts it's head up, glaring down at Katana. A loud rumbling, a growled few words, which... you can understand, despite the low tone. "....giant lizard... you impudent puny PRIME!"
[2024/08/15 15:25] Alicia Frakture: Prime?"
[2024/08/15 15:25] Alicia Frakture: *Was this explained previously? smooth brain moment for this one.*
[2024/08/15 15:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guy, meanwhile, has come to a conclusion. Him and the woman? That's a match, which he should win. A dragon vs four? Likewise a match, but, less certain. Discretion may be the better part of valor. He rams his sword back into the scabbard at his him and draws his robes back around him, and backs slowly to the dragon, saying a few things, mostly to the dragon.

[2024/08/15 15:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben, Dahlia, Leesa?
[2024/08/15 15:29] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben keeps her attention on them even as they work their way to getting out of sight
[2024/08/15 15:31] Alicia Frakture: Leesha watches as well, thinking that if they were to fight and if THe group would win. Big freakin' if she would have meat for the tiger.

[2024/08/15 15:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: The dragon glares at Katana hatefully, as the guy clambers up. He leans over, and points to the woman. "hshar'lak, jhe'quith dvenzir, kainyank" he says. ("Unforgiveable/traitor", "terminate the weak", )
[2024/08/15 15:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's hard to be sure but the woman stiffens a little, paling. She's got one word to reply, although, she mutters it rather than says it out loud. "shka'keth" (Asshole)
[2024/08/15 15:37] Alicia Frakture: Yeah yeah and so's your old man." Leesha has no clue what the guy is saying but is just responding to the tone.
[2024/08/15 15:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: The dragon extends wings and WOOMPH takes off, beating the air vigorously to gain height and turning to fly away. When they're some distance away they just... vanish. The woman finally sheaths her sword and flicks her robe back down off her shoulder.
[2024/08/15 15:41] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben points her musket at the sky and the hateful sun it carries, then looks to this odd women with one eye, the dragon on the wing with the other. "(Do you know the stone language?)" she asks in dwarven.
[2024/08/15 15:41] Alicia Frakture: Leesha shakes her head."I almost just got us into a possibly unwinnable fight didn't I?"
[2024/08/15 15:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: A slightly quizzical expression, with a hint of a superior smirk, is the only response.
[2024/08/15 15:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "Nay... for once I almost was as much to blame as you, Leesha."
[2024/08/15 15:45] Alicia Frakture: "Shall we check the house before he comes back with friends?"
[2024/08/15 15:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "That could be a very good idea."
[2024/08/15 15:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: The door, you may recall, is locked.
[2024/08/15 15:46] Alicia Frakture: is there a backdoor?
[2024/08/15 15:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: ** we lost Sapphire **
[2024/08/15 16:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me checks notes... the fight would've been "deadly", at the very least; the dragon could easily incinerate the whole party with one breath
[2024/08/15 16:02] Alicia Frakture: Figured as much
[2024/08/15 16:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me checks the other stats and.... you made the "right choice" ;)
[2024/08/15 16:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: Even though that was a -young- example, probably still way too tough.
[2024/08/15 16:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: alright, think I'll call it there, starting to suffer from lack of sleep again
